Meet Our Team
Heidi has been in the insurance business for over 20 years, working as an underwriter, an independent agent, and finally as the head of her own agency. She is fully committed to her clients and believes that a well-trained, independent staff leads to the highest-quality customer service. Under her guidance, this agency has grown to include three award-winning offices across Southern Michigan and a service range spanning three states.
In the past few years alone, Heidi has been a recipient of the President’s Award, the Champions Award, the Brokerage Solutions Award, the Financial Leaders Award, was selected for the Life University Invitational, and was honored as Michigan’s 2013 Nationwide MVP. She is also a member of Nationwide’s Regional Advisory Council, the AGG Council, and is a founding member of Nationwide’s forthcoming CEO Group.
In addition to her dedication to her customers, Heidi also finds time to help her community grow. With four children in three public schools, she is active in Ann Arbor schools and volunteers with local groups to work on Ann Arbor’s nature preserves and parks. In her free time, Heidi can be found running, hiking with her family, or reading at home.
Having worked for the Agency since 1996 with a brief absence to raise her and her husband’s children, Patti is our problem-solving expert. She handles the most complicated, in-depth policy problems and keeps everything running smoothly. Though she was hired in at the agency’s inception as an Agency Development Specialist, she has climbed the ranks from Office Manager to P&C Manager to Agency Administrator.
Patti’s passion for helping others doesn’t stop at home. She volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, provides food and gifts for less fortunate families through the Hope Clinic’s Christmas sponsorship program, and donates items for and helps put together hygiene kits for homeless veterans. When not busy with volunteer work, Patti and her family enjoy the outdoors and are advocates of buying local to support community businesses.
A former student of Eastern Michigan and Kaplan Universities, Matt is the Agency’s newest insurance agent. He is licensed to work in both Michigan and Ohio and works primarily with Life, Home, Auto, and Renter’s insurance to name a few.
Matt recently moved back to Ypsilanti and is excited to get involved in his community. He is a staff member for a not-for-profit service organization dedicated to building social skills through improvisational theatre and recently participated in an Adopt-A-Highway cleanup day. In his spare time, Matt is also a writer and semi-competitive video gamer.
Jennifer has been a Nationwide employee since 2001 and has been with the Agency since 2013. A graduate of the Michigan Pre-Licensing Insurance Education school in Lansing, Jennifer began her insurance career in her sister-in-law’s agency as a part-time employee. She now specializes in Property and Casualty insurance. Between travelling and spending time in and on the water, she volunteers at the Adopt-a-Pet shelter in Fenton.
With over 20 years of insurance customer service experience, Becky is the Agency’s Billing and Payments specialist for all lines of insurance policies. She is also our point-of-contact for Claims questions and servicing.
Becky is an avid U of M football fan and a competitive discgolf player, having competed in the 2008 and 2015 Discgolf World Championships in Kalamazoo. She has played 261 courses in Michigan alone and was also featured in the Hucker Report. When not working or playing, Becky also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and travelled to the Gulf Coast twice to help Habitat with their efforts to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina.
Lori has been working for our agency since 2007. A former student and graduate of Eastern Michigan and Davenport Universities, she writes and services Commercial, Auto, Home, and Life insurance policies to name a few.
When not in the office, Lori is a proud mother of two and Assistant Troop Leader for the local Girl Scouts chapter. She loves spending time outdoors, be it checking out local downtown areas or enjoying a bonfire. An active member of the Canton community, she also volunteers at the Hope Soup Kitchen and Feed My Starving Children.
