Peace Neighborhood Center is an organization aimed at uplifting families to promote self-sufficiency and positive community involvement. This grassroots non-profit has been helping vulnerable Michigan families since 1971.
They focus on providing resources so that families who are vulnerable, battling violence, poverty, and addictions can overcome those obstacles and develop core skills aimed at empowering themselves and their family members. Some of the programs and services offered by Peace Neighborhood Center include advocacy, emergency assistance, after-school programs, summer day camps, college and career preparation, individual and family counseling, and family enrichment.
Our agency, Heidi Kussurelis Insurance, recognizes the importance and the need to continue to provide for members of our community who are most at-risk. Even close friends and members of our team have gotten the opportunity to witness firsthand how important the work of Peace Neighborhood is when it comes to uplifting local members of our communities.
